We went to Davao last October 29 - 31, 2011. This was such a great escape from the remaining days of my semestral break. We were so excited to go to Davao because we could finally meet our relatives that we haven't seen for a very very very long time.
We stayed at Waterfront Insular Hotel and we had a great stay there - Thumbs up. That hotel reminds me of Fort Ilocandia Hotel in Laoag, Ilocos as well. They have the same ambiance and serenity in their vicinity.

The third photo isn't just a sausage. That is a Crocodile freakin' sausage. My judgment about the Crocodile Sausage was good. It has its own distinct taste and doesn't really taste like chicken, beef nor pork.
What made this Davao trip more exciting was the fact that I was able to meet my cousins, Yvonne and Rachel. We, (cousins) of the same age but last October was the first we met each other.
